How to Use Hush Tape
How to Use Hush Tape
It only takes a few seconds. Here's how to get the most out of every strip.
Step-by-step
- Start with clean, dry lips. Wash your face and gently pat your lips dry. Avoid heavy lip balms right before applying.
- Peel a strip. Remove one Hush Tape strip from the backing.
- Apply. Place the strip horizontally across your closed lips, centered. Press gently for a few seconds to activate the adhesive.
- Sleep. Breathe through your nose. Hush Tape is designed to stay put while remaining easy to remove.
- Remove in the morning. Peel slowly from one corner. The strip is single-use — toss it in the trash.
Tips for first-time users
- Ease in. If you're brand new to mouth tape, try wearing it for a few minutes before bed to get used to the sensation.
- Make sure your nose is clear. If you have a cold, allergies, or nasal congestion, skip Hush until you can breathe comfortably through your nose.
- Hydrate. Drink a glass of water before bed to prevent dryness.
Who should not use Hush Tape
Don't use Hush Tape if you have a cold or nasal blockage, sleep apnea (without consulting your doctor), recent facial or oral surgery, severely chapped or broken skin around the lips, or if you've had alcohol or sedatives. If you're pregnant, have a medical condition, or are unsure, talk to your doctor before use.
Safety
Hush Tape is intended for adults only. Keep out of reach of children. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
